Aparna Yadav Attends Inauguration of 75 Redeveloped Railway Stations, Including Aishbagh Junction

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission Vice-Chairperson Aparna Yadav attended the inauguration ceremony of 75 redeveloped railway stations across the country, including Aishbagh Junction in Lucknow, under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

Addressing the gathering, Yadav said the Indian Railways is undergoing a major transformation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with a strong emphasis on modern infrastructure, passenger convenience and safety. She said the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme is not merely an infrastructure development initiative but also reflects an integrated approach that combines cultural heritage, cleanliness, accessibility and contemporary passenger amenities.

Highlighting the redevelopment of Aishbagh Junction, Yadav said the upgraded station would significantly enhance the travel experience for passengers while contributing to the social and economic development of the surrounding region. She noted that improved railway infrastructure plays a vital role in strengthening connectivity and supporting regional growth.

Expressing appreciation for the initiative, Yadav thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ministry of Railways for implementing the ambitious redevelopment programme. She said projects under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme are making an important contribution towards the vision of a developed India by creating modern, efficient and passenger-friendly transport infrastructure.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by public representatives, senior railway officials and prominent citizens, who toured the redeveloped station and appreciated the ongoing efforts to modernise the Indian Railways and improve public infrastructure across the country.
